Stuart CainI started with Mick at Kudos Health about three or four months ago after my wife’s suggestion, she religiously goes to Mick’s Tuesday and Thursday boot camps. Since then I’ve have never looked back.
In hindsight I was dithering around at the Gym for at least a couple of years until my wife bought me four individual PT sessions with Mick for Christmas. Mick sat down with me straight away and listened to the goals I wanted to achieve. – My third child had just been born and I wanted to ensure I could keep up with him and my other two kids for as long as possible. – I injured my ankle over Christmas and wanted to do all I can to strengthen this. – I wanted to lose a few kilos. – I wanted to improve my surfing. After completing the 4 sessions it highlighted to me just how ineffective I had been at the gym and what a great service Mick provides. After my initial sessions I was keen as mustard to sign up indefinitely for a weekly ½ hour session. Mick then looked at my diet and suggested a few changes for the better as well as drawing me up a number of programs I can do at the gym in between my weekly P/T session. One point Mick has always drilled into me is to make every session count. It’s better to spend ½ hour at the gym at full intensity than 1½ hours at ½ pace. I’m proud to say that I’m ecstatic with the results and happy that all my goals have either been achieved or are continuously being improved and new benchmarks set. My ankle feels great, I’ve lost a few kilos and I’m throwing around the kids and keeping up with them better than ever. Lastly, I’ve never surfed better and my surf fitness and balance is through the roof. Mick’s knowledge of his craft is exceptional and every session he conducts seems to target a different muscle groups I haven’t worked on before. This also helps by making sure every session is unique and challenging in it’s own right. Being predominately an office worker I’ve also suffered with back pain on and off for the past decade. The more I progress with Mick and the stronger I get, especially in my core, the better my back feels which has been another unexpected benefit of Mick’s session. I would definitely recommend Mick and Kudos Health to anyone who is serious about losing weight or improving their fitness. But beware…… you may need to buy a few new clothes as your waist size is going to shrink! Stuart Cain |
