After my first session I realised how out of shape I was. My throat burnt due to my smoking and my body ached all over. That’s when I knew it was time to make some changes. With Mick’s support and guidance within the first 6 months I had given up smoking, knocked off soft drink all together and improved my fitness by a massive amount. Then came time to tackle the food. At first I hated it! Each week I had to bring in a food diary being held accountable for everything I ate and drank. Not long after I lost my first 10kg! It was by this time I realised that I wasn’t just doing this to lose weight it was now a way of life. Being healthy was now what I wanted the most.
