Heather JonesI commenced training with Kudos Health in mid-November last year (2014). Since that time, Mick Davies has been my Personal Trainer, and has demonstrated a commitment to best practice and excellence in his approach to targeting my health and fitness needs, and in assisting me to make necessary changes to my lifestyle that were necessary to improving my overall quality of life.
As a 53 year old career woman, who requires a great deal of energy to keep up with the demands of work and family life, it has been important for me to work with someone who is able to listen carefully to my concerns and understand the need for adjusting sessions to suit my sometimes erratic schedule. Mick has always accommodated changes to schedule if I’ve needed to shift my priorities, and has consistently advised me of best ways forward in order for me to include exercise and make appropriate dietary changes that work well within the context of my lifestyle. Despite my sometimes ‘haphazard’ approach to training sessions and diet, my fitness levels and overall wellbeing have dramatically improved during the time I have been under Mick’s supervision. I have been delighted that, as a direct result of Mick’s input and applied expertise in assisting me to set realistic goals, my overall fitness and energy levels have increased so substantially in a relatively short space of time. Even though I have not yet achieved the consistency I would prefer to have in my commitment to training sessions, the outcomes have still managed to generate, and I attribute these outcomes to Mick’s ability to ‘think outside squares’ in order to work with me in the context of my hectic lifestyle. He possesses an impeccable commitment to best practice and achieving best outcomes with his clients, and is an outstanding professional in his ability to motivate others to engage in training that they may otherwise ‘balk at’. The gym environment is not one I normally feel comfortable with, however, Mick Davies manages to make the experience enjoyable and he assists clients to focus exceptionally well on the specific exercises that he guides you through. By the end of each training session, I always come home with a sense of accomplishment and feeling all the better for having made the time and effort to ‘fit’ the session into my day. Mick’s professional knowledge is comprehensive and impressive, and I am continually in admiration of his infinite patience as a Personal Trainer. He demonstrates the utmost respect and concern in his professional care of clients, and I am very grateful to him for having made a great deal of difference in my life already!
