I went to the LIFTED workshop with some background knowledge of mindfulness and how to implement it into everyday life. I however over the years was a hindrance to my own mental fitness thinking practising every now and then would help. Yet still wondering why my anxiety was spiralling out of control.
Over the days since LIFTED I've utilised some strategies into my life in small ways, which I'm finding is helping me take a moment in time to slow down - one of the many things Mick taught us throughout the workshop. Mick was so fun and encouraging throughout the workshop allowing myself and everyone to feel comfortable and at ease.
I would highly recommend anyone to go to Mick's workshops.
His knowledge and experience is invaluable.
