Jessica NunnI joined the 6-week Stress Less Program to try and understand my stressors and how to better deal with their effects. Each session you are guided through a better understanding of stress, your stressors and many techniques and tools that help bring calm and mindfulness into everyday life.
We all know life is stressful and some days are definitely harder than others. With the amazing knowledge you are given about understanding what is going on in your brain and how you are wired to react - it allows you to step away more from the stress of the situation and re-evaluate. I have learnt not to beat myself up, that I am capable. It is not the end of the world to be stressed - it is a part of everyone's life and this realisation has meant so much to me. This course has added calmness of my mind, body and empowerment over my symptoms. And now with the techniques and ongoing support I feel as though I am much more capable of dealing with the stressors that will change and appear throughout the rest of my life. Mick is so passionate about this program and I can see why. The way in which he guides, teaches, and relates it back to everyday life is a testament to him.
