> Mindful movement directs your attention to the subtle physical sensations as you move. Generally this is done quite slowly, but even if you are required to move quickly during an activity, you can be mindful that you are moving quickly and tune into that experience.
> The more connected and aware you are of your body, the more you will learn about how you respond to thoughts, feelings and emotions. Therefore, you will be better able to train your “mindfulness muscle”
For example: Choose an activity that requires you to move your body. This may be something you already do (like a gym workout), or something you will introduce (like yoga). It can even be a physical chore such as mowing the lawn! Either way when you are performing this activity, tune into your awareness of the body moving.
